To all the parents and students – welcome back to Patoka for Term 4. Last term was a very busy but successful term. Thank you to everyone for your assistance and support with the production. I have had a lot of very positive feedback which is always appreciated.
This term promises to be another exciting and busy time for all. The first 5 weeks will include a visit from ERO and the whole school camp to Matahiwi Marae. Please remember to get your forms into the office as soon as possible.
The school choir will be attending the Kids for Kids concert on the 4th November. Tickets are on sale for this now. It is being held at the Napier Municipal Theatre.
We have another cluster event with Pakowhai School. This is the annual Top Town event and is always a lot of fun. Please remember that all of the cluster events we attend are part of our school curriculum and therefore counted as a normal school day.
The Police KOS (Keeping Ourselves Safe unit) will be delivered in classrooms from the 17th November through to the 28th. Constable Kevin Marshal will be assisting in the delivery of this programme. He will be in contact with the school soon and will provide information that we will send our to our families.
We are all looking forward to getting back into the classroom and pushing the students forward for the final term of the year and also to catching up with you all at some stage. Enjoy the last few days of your school holidays.
See you on Monday!
